Now let's hope that those who read this and take it's advice end up as green players and not those red devils. I assure you you'll enjoy driving a CV more. Sit back, take your time and pick your targets. The bull in a China shop kind of tactics only works for a few BBs it's certainly not for CVs. It will help your team much more to know in what direction the red lemming train is coming from than for you to toss away your planes in a fruitless attack on a full strength AA spec'ed ship. Show a little patience and do a little scouting for your team. Now I'll admit that I haven't played a single CV game under the new system but had plenty of experience with the old and what was true then is still true now. keeping in mind that torpedo damage doesn't take out AA mounts. Now later in the game when those same ships are at 1/2 or 3/4 strength and that's a different story. If you're attacking a full strength Des Moines or Atlanta for example you should be getting your aft kicked. Let your team mates use their guns to take out those AA mounts and soften up the target for you. Don't attack strong AA ships in the first half of the game. ![]()
